Look at its track record in private real estate: at $7 trillion, it’s a market that’s three times bigger than private equity, according to McKinsey. Yet Norway has failed to meet its allocation goal for real estate since getting permission to add the asset class in 2010. It has about 2.5 percent of its assets in real estate, half of its target.”
