Watch video of an event from other points of view

With video becoming a bigger part of the social-media sphere, Krowds is offering its own angle at curating social video. In fact, it’s offering lots of angles. The driving idea behind this video app is that it provides a space for multiple people at the same location to submit videos from their own point of view. Although this might have some limited applications, it could be useful for events such as weddings, concerts or speeches.

Taking and uploading video itself is pretty easy, as is setting up a “Krowd” in the app to let people know where they can send their videos. You can set this up to be “stealth,” which can only be shared by the group’s creator and members; “near me,” so the app looks for groups close by; or public. The app also looks for groups near you, so you can see and maybe even contribute to video logs of events that are happening. Free, for iOS and Android devices.
