Wal-Mart will be leaking its Black Friday deals early, following the lead of several major retailers in offering consumers an early peek at what it’s got on tap for the biggest shopping week of the year.

As of 2:30 p.m., Eastern, 10,000 people have “liked” a post on the retailer’s Facebook page that promises to release the company’s Black Friday ad to its Facebook fans first. Those who register at Walmart.com will also get an early look at the ad.

In addition to leaking its deals early, Wal-Mart also announced that it is offering a Christmas Price Match guarantee from Nov. 1 to Dec. 25. If a Wal-Mart customer buys a product at the store, then finds it on sale for less somewhere else, he or she will be able to get a gift card for the difference through Christmas Day.

The company also showed off its toy catalog and announced that it will having a one-day sale ahead of Black Friday on Nov. 5. That sale will have deals on electronics and toys, the retailer said in a statement.

Wal-Mart joins Kohl’s, JC Penney’s, Target and Macy’s in announcing early details about their Black Friday plans.
