The Line Zen should be an easy game. All you have to do is guide a blue dot down a winding path without hitting the red walls or other obstacles. But it’s not easy. Instead it is frustrating, calming and tons of fun. The trick is to find your center, as touching anything red leads to quick annihilation. Players guide their dot by sliding their finger along the bottom of the screen.
You have some help, in the form of green buffer shapes. But you have to be careful here, too. Your allies react to your movements and can sometimes trip you up if you’re not smart about the chosen path. Practice makes perfect. The game is free, but comes with frequent ads that cost 99 cents to banish. Free, for iOS and Android devices.
