These are the first images of the McLaren P1, alternately known as the P12, the successor to the McLaren F1, or the next attempt at greatness for McLaren Automotive.
The McLaren P1 is intended to be, according to managing director Antony Sheriff, "the most exciting, most capable, most technologically advanced and most dynamically accomplished supercar ever made--not necessarity to be the fastest in absolute top speed but to be the quickes and most reqarding series production road car on a circuit."
That, unfortunately, is the extent of the details released on the car thus far. For more information on what might be involved in making the McLaren P1 the most track-worthy road car in history, check out our previous coverage here.
