This year’s Library of Congress National Book Festival will be September 22 and 23 on the National Mall. The Washington Post is dedicated to the principle that an inquisitive and informed reader is a good citizen and is proud to have sponsored the festival since its inception in 2001. The festival is free and open to the public. Visitors can meet their favorite authors and poets and participate in a variety of activities. A number of Post personalities will be on hand to either present their books or introduce other authors.
In addition, visitors are invited to pick up a special edition of Book World in the Let’s Read America tent. For more information visit: http://www.loc.gov/bookfest/
