This letter from hundreds of legal scholars, including several prominent conservative ones, argues that GOP senators have a duty to evaluate the actual evidence in the Senate impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump and put jurisdictional questions aside. The Senate voted that it has jurisdiction, they argue, and so the senators’ oath of office requires that they decide the case on the merits. Read the story here.
