This letter expressing concern about USDA's enforcement of animal welfare laws was signed by 174 members of Congress and sent to chairs of the House Subcommittee on Agriculture, Rural Development, FDA and Related Agencies. An identical letter, signed by 38 senators, was sent to the Senate's counterpart subcommittee.
