Authorities are cautioning residents not to be alarmed by activity Monday morning at the U.S. Capitol.

Capitol Police said emergency vehicles and low-flying helicopters will be on the grounds as part of a routine training exercise involving federal, state and local officials.

The training comes after the Jan. 6 breach of the Capitol, which has led to hundreds of arrests.

Capitol Police did not respond to a request for comment about other details of the training and what agencies will be involved.
