A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder in the fatal shootings of two roommates in their Suitland apartment in early September, Prince George’s County police said.

The man, Charles Dominique Williams, is being held without bond at the county jail. Detectives are still investigating the motive, police said.

The two roommates, Michael Rodney Jackson Jr., 32, and Kevin Ikard, 24, were found at 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 2 with gunshot wounds inside their apartment, authorities said. Officers had been called to the 4100 block of Suitland Road for a reported shooting. Both men died at the apartment.

Williams is Jackson’s cousin, police said, and had been staying with the men in their apartment.
