D.C. police investigate death of man found at Eastern Market station

The man was found unresponsive Saturday evening and pronounced dead at the scene, police say


D.C. police are investigating the death of a man found Saturday evening near the entrance to the Eastern Market Metro station, police said Sunday.

The man, whose name was not released, was found unresponsive around 5:50 p.m. in the 700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE, said police spokesperson Alaina Gertz. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Gertz said.
