Voters in Mississippi will choose two senators, a regular election for the seat held by incumbent Roger Wicker (R), and a special election to fill the seat vacated by Thad Cochran (R). They will also elect representatives for four House seats, one of which is held by a Democrat and three by Republicans. See Mississippi’s primary results
Mississippi’s special Senate election did not have a primary. Four candidates are competing for the seat. If none of them get 50 percent of the vote, the top two vote-getters will advance to a Nov. 27 runoff.
