Maryland's primary was originally scheduled for April 28. Any registered voter can vote by mail via absentee ballot, though there were delays in mailing out some of the ballots. Sen. Bernie Sanders ended his campaign April 8 but said he is still seeking to amass delegates to influence the party's platform.
