TV highlights: Former ‘Top Chef’ contestants face-off on Bravo’s ‘Top Chef Duels’

FINALE WATCH: “My Wild Affair” (MPT and WETA at 8 p.m.) comes to a close with the story of a 25-year friendship between Andre, a wild harbor seal, and Harry Goldridge, a Maine man who rescued him as a pup in 1961.

Robert Altman, the director who gave the world “Gosford Park” and “MASH,” is honored in “Altman” (Epix at 8), a 90-minute documentary in which the Hollywood great, who died in 2006, tells much of his story via archival interviews.

Magicians Ali Cook, Michael Vincent, John Archer and Benjamin Earl attempt to impress Penn and Teller with their take on the “Saw a Woman in Half” trick on “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” (CW at 8).

“SYTYCD” all-stars return to perform with the Top 10 on “So You Think You Can Dance” (Fox at 8).

SERIES PREMIERE: Hosted by Rebecca Romijn of painted “X-Men” fame, “Skin Wars” (GSN at 9) brings the transformative art of body painting to the reality competition world. RuPaul serves as one of the judges along with body painters Craig Tracy and Robin Barcus Slonina.

“Who Do You Think You Are?” (TLC at 9) reads into actress Rachel McAdams’s familial history and finds relatives uprooted by war along with an English ancestor who existed in a highly privileged world.

SERIES PREMIERE: “Top Chef Duels” (Bravo at 10) pits former “Top Chef” contestants against one another to test their versatility. In the first episode, Richard Blais challenges Marcel Vigneron to make a burger, and Vigneron challenges Blais to make a hot and cold dessert.

Molly’s increasingly erratic state causes John to question her overall health on “Extant” (CBS at 10).

FINALE WATCH: The last episode of “Sex in the Wild” (MPT and WETA at 10) Season 1 examines how whales find mates in the vast ocean and how dolphins and small whales avoid killer whales.

“The Daily Show With Jon Stewart” (Comedy Central at 11) welcomes the pioneering hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan.

Actress Megan Fox and television host Nick Cannon come to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” (NBC at 11:35), with music from Wiz Khalifa.

Entrepreneur Martha Stewart and actor Bill Murray are on the “Late Show With David Letterman” (CBS at 11:35), along with a performance from Lady Gaga.

Actress Chloe Grace Moretz stops by “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (ABC at 11:35), with musical guests the Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
