The latest episode of “Glee” (Fox at 9), titled “Transitioning,” further explores Coach Beiste’s journey to come out as a transgender man, including a name change from Shannon to Sheldon. Former student Unique (Alex Newell), who had wanted to be recognized as a female in seasons past, returns in support of Sheldon. Also, a 200-person transgender choir performs.

Nick asks an old foe for help when an arson case looks to have Wesen origins on “Grimm” (NBC at 9).

The “Shark Tank” (ABC at 9) investors hear pitches for products including an updated gold-mining bucket and a sports bra constructed to function like a fanny pack.

Kim Cattrall, who has played Cleopatra twice on stage, searches for the truth in “Antony and Cleopatra,” Shakespeare’s story about middle-aged love, on “Shakespeare Uncovered” (MPT at 9, WETA at 10). The following episode has “Shakespeare in Love” actor Joseph Fiennes pondering why “Romeo and Juliet” remains the most adapted and performed of Shakespeare’s works.

Erin is tasked with bringing a mob informant back to New York and asks Danny and Baez to help her protect him on “Blue Bloods” (CBS at 10).

The guests on “Real Time With Bill Maher” (HBO at 10) are screenwriter Robert Kenner, actor David Duchovny, former congressman Tom Davis (R-Va.), Economist editor in chief Zanny Minton Beddoes and author/comedian Baratunde Thurston.

SERIES PREMIERE: Based on Michael Connelly’s best-selling novels, “Bosch” (Amazon, streaming), reviewed by TV critic Hank Stuever on this page, stars Titus Welliver as Harry Bosch, a troubled Los Angeles homicide detective who is standing trial for the fatal shooting of a suspected serial killer.

Actors Samuel L. Jackson and Norman Reedus are on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” (NBC at 11:35), with musical guest Jessie J.
