SERIES PREMIERE: It’s a Gordon Ramsay show — only with kids! “MasterChef Junior” (Fox at 8 p.m.) challenges kid chefs, between the ages of 8 and 13, to create delicious pasta and seafood dishes, along with desserts.

RETURNING SHOW: For those who don’t know — which included us until five minutes ago — Twin Peaks is a sports bar and grill chain featuring provocatively dressed waitresses. The execs want to test its waitresses, so the chief executive pretends to be an inappropriate customer on the fifth season premiere of “Undercover Boss” (CBS at 8) to see what happens.

FINALE WATCH: On the first season finale of dating competition “Perfect Score” (CW at 8), two best friends try to win money by finding their soul mates.

RETURNING SHOW: McGarrett and Wo Fat manage to escape maximum security as “Hawaii Five-0” (CBS at 9) kicks off its fourth season in a new Friday night time slot. Later, A group of gunmen storm the Five-0 headquarters, which forces McGarrett to turn on his own team when he has to rescue a kidnapped Catherine.

Documentary “Roman Polanski: Odd Man Out” (Showtime at 9) is a follow-up to the 2008 documentary, “Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired,” and looks at whether that film (which explored the news media circus surrounding Polanski’s trial for the statutory rape in 1978) led to a re-opening of the case and Polanski’s arrest.

The entrepreneurs on “Shark Tank” (ABC at 9) are at first not impressed by a New York woman who wants to launch a line of chic puppy fashion accessories but are more intrigued by a Silicon Valley veteran who invents a breathalyzer app.

RETURNING SHOW: A police officer is killed during an armed robbery on “Blue Bloods” (CBS at 10), and Frank makes it his top priority to charge the suspect — so he’s furious when Erin drops the charges and releases him because there’s not enough evidence.

Actor Tim Robbins and neuroscientist Carl Hart are interview guests on “Real Time With Bill Maher” (HBO at 10); the roundtable includes finance expert Monica Mehta, economist Robert Reich and journalist Matt Welch.

Actor Steve Martin, comedian Kathleen Madigan and musical guests the Kruger Brothers (with Steve Martin) are on “Late Show With David Letterman” (CBS at 11:35).

“The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” (NBC at 11:35) hosts actress Sandra Bullock and singer Gregory Porter.
