Wynonna Earp (Syfy at 10) Wynonna comes closer to discovering the origins of the Earp curse.


The Last Tycoon (Amazon streaming) Nine-episode drama based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s last work, about a movie studio head (Matt Bomer) battling with his mentor (Kelsey Grammer) in the 1930s. Lily Collins also stars.

The Rich and the Ruthless (Urban Movie Channel streaming) Victoria Rowell (of “The Young and the Restless” fame) created this fictional six-episode series about the behind-the-scenes drama of the first daytime soap opera with a black showrunner.

The Food Flirts (WETA at 10; MPT at 11) This series follows the Brass sisters, a pair of passionate foodies who “flirt” their way into kitchens to discover chef’s techniques and recipes.


Daughters of Destiny (Netflix streaming) In this four-part documentary series, Academy Award-winning filmmaker Vanessa Roth chronicles the lives of five girls from an impoverished Indian community as they grow up in a unique coed residential school.


The Incredible Jessica James (Netflix streaming) Former “Daily Show” correspondent Jessica Williams plays an aspiring playwright navigating a new relationship, while reeling from a recent breakup. Chris O’Dowd (“Girls”), Keith Stanfield (“Atlanta”) and Noël Wells (“Master of None”) also star.
