SERIES PREMIERE: Cupcake, shipping, storage — time for another show about wars. On competition series “Dig Wars” (Travel Channel at 10, 10:30), three teams of relic hunters travel around the country to historic locations, racing to find the most valuable artifacts. First up: Fort St. Philip, La., to look for Civil War antiques.
RETURNING SHOW: Doctor Hank returns to work after recovering from neurosurgery on the Season 5 premiere of “Royal Pains” (USA at 9) and, right away, treats a Hamptons resident who is putting herself in danger by organizing a hospital fundraiser. Meanwhile, Evan pursues a new client, and Divya gets unexpected news about the HankMed team.
RETURNING SHOW: On new episodes of “Ghost Hunters” (Syfy at 9), the team heads to a landmark in Louisiana that once hosted singers including Johnny Cash and Elvis and that might be haunted.
Vince Vaughn gets the “Guycon” prize at the 2013 Guys Choice Awards (Spike at 9), which was filmed Saturday in Los Angeles, while Ben Affleck is presented with the highest honor of the night, “Guy of the Year.” Meanwhile, it’s not just guys — Emilia Clarke from “Game of Thrones” accepts the coveted “Holy Grail of Hot” award.
RETURNING SHOW: Dani faces new challenges — and that’s an understatement — when the New York Hawks football team gets new management on the third season of “Necessary Roughness” (USA at 10). Later, she gets an offer from a powerful businessman (new cast member John Stamos), and TK struggles to communicate with a difficult head coach.
RETURNING SHOW: Back for a second season, “I’m Having Their Baby” (Oxygen at 10) looks at adoption through the perspective of the birth mother. In the premiere, a Texas woman panics that her boyfriend might change his mind about putting their baby up for adoption.
RETURNING SHOW: The drama kicks off early on the Season 3 premiere of “Couples Therapy” (VH1 at 10), as Dr. Jenn Berman comes back to help high-profile couples sort through issues and finds that one duo is too busy bickering to start counseling.
