Tai Shan's Trip to China: The Alternate Cover

THE FRONT PAGE of each day’s Express is the product of a lot of thought and creativity, much deliberation and several rounds of polishing. We work hard to get it right.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun sometimes, right?

It’s in that spirit that we present to you an alternate cover for Friday’s edition, which refers to a story by The Post’s Michael E. Ruane about the stylish way in which the National Zoo will be sending Tai Shan — D.C.’s beloved Butterstick — to China.
