» Reception: A barbershop quartet, a 10-piece band, a photo booth, origami crane place cards and three ice bars with ice luges.

» How They Met: They crossed paths a couple times but didn’t connect until one Monday night when they ran into each other at a series of bars. “By the last venue, he had no choice but to talk to me,” Victoria says.

» First Impressions: “It was like something out of a movie. I couldn’t hear the music, and everyone in the room seemed out of focus except her. She looked stunning, and I couldn’t keep my eyes off her, much to the dismay of my soon-to-be ex-girlfriend.”

» How He Proposed: While dining at Park Cafe in Capitol Hill. “I noticed he kept trying to draw dinner out, waiting for the last tables to leave,” Victoria says. “Finally, he couldn’t wait any longer.”
