Gawker.com was a bit surprised to find out that the CNN journalist’s new series on the environment is sponsored by the Dow Chemical Company — the parent company of Union Carbide, the company responsible for a toxic gas leak in Bhopal, India, in 1984 that ultimately killed thousands.
