Dine and Dash: Belgian Restaurant Week

Move over, Restaurant Week. Offering more than just prix-fixe menus, Belgian Restaurant Week (Fri.-July 21) includes entertainment with your eats. Head to Eastern Market Hall (225 7th St. SE) Saturday for the second-annual Mussel Throw Down (noon-3 p.m., $5). Sous chefs from participating eateries will battle Embassy Chef of the Year Jan Van Haute for the chance to be crowned Mussel King. The entry fee also gets you one bowl of mussels and a beer.
