Dolcezza’s sixth retail location opened last week on 14th Street with five signature coppettas (sundaes). Each is made with the shop’s signature fresh-as-can-be gelatos. Our favorite mixes sweet cookies with bitter espresso.

Biscoff cookies are a staple of the European cafe. Dolcezza crumbles the crunchy caramel biscuits and uses them as a topping.

Dolcezza serves espresso roasted in Brooklyn by Stumptown Coffee Roasters, which it dusts on top of the coppetta.

Whipped Cream

The topping is made in-house with cream from Perrydell Farm in Pennsylvania.

Dolcezza’s “hairbender” gelato gets its name from the buzz-inducing Stumptown espresso it’s made from.
