Does Google Glass have a future in wedding wear? D.C.-based designer Ean Williams thinks so. On Tuesday, for a fashion show at the Wearables + Things tech conference in Arlington, he paired a wedding gown with the futuristic spectacles and a Fitbit-concealing necklace by Funktional Wearables.

The bridal applications for wearable technology are endless, Williams says. “As she’s getting ready, she can live stream with people who aren’t at the wedding,” he says. Or, the glasses could display the names and vital stats of attendees, Terminator-style. “I’d love that, because I’m terribly bad with names,” he says.

Plus, you’ll want to make sure all those steps down the aisle count toward your daily activity goal.
