The DC Record Fair at Penn Social (801 E St. NW; Sun., 11 a.m.-5 p.m., $2-$5) features more than 40 vendors hawking vinyl and DJs spinning while you shop. Here are some tips for getting the most out of the fair:

Want the goods? Arrive early. Admission is $5 (instead of $2) from 11 a.m. to noon and grants you first crack at the bins.

Want a deal? Go late. You’ll have less of a selection but you might score deals from vendors looking to ditch their stock.

Haggle. See a Miles Davis record priced at $15 but you’d rather pay $10? Make an offer. The worst a vendor can do is say no.

Pace yourself. Don’t buy the first thing you see and don’t let the crowds deter you. There are plenty of records to go around.
