News broke this week that two separate weddings had taken place without any fanfare: Dave Franco to Alison Brie, and Ilana Glazer to David Rooklin. Publicists for both stars on Monday confirmed a People magazine report that the pair had wed. No details were released on where or when the ceremony took place. “Broad City” co-creator Glazer, meanwhile, had not announced news of her engagement to longtime boyfriend Rooklin, whom E! News reported that she met while both attended New York University. News of their nuptials was made public when comedian Phoebe Robinson shared a photo of the couple on Instagram, with a caption congratulating them “on getting hitched.” Glazer has not confirmed the news. —AP/Express

Amber Tamblyn revealed the name of her daughter with David Cross in an Instagram post on Monday. She shared a photo of a letter from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton addressed to Marlow Alice Cross, and said that Clinton counted herself among the baby’s “vast community of admirers and champions.” Tamblyn had previously joked that the baby’s name was Dauphinoise.

“Black-ish” star Yara Shahidi told W magazine that she has a big supporter in her pursuit of a college education: Michelle Obama. Shahidi said the former first lady wrote her a letter of recommendation for her applications, and gave her a supportive pat on the back before Shahidi took her Advanced Placement exams. Fans buzzed this week that Beyonce had revealed the sex of her soon-to-be-born twins in a photo posted Monday to her website. In the photo, several Twitter users pointed out, Beyonce wears the same round silver earrings as she did in her video for the 2008 song “If I Were a Boy.” The singer has not commented on the rumor shared by many that this means she’s expecting boys.
