When leaves turn rainbow colors in the Northeast and summer heat ebbs, it’s time to take to the woods and mountains for leaf-peeping and long, nature-filled walks where you can social-distance to your heart’s content.

Peanut Butter Granola. Bake till crisp for snappy shards of nutty granola or underbake slightly so this protein-packed treat has the texture of a cookie instead. Add dried fruit or nuts as you please.
