Bone-in or boneless, whole or spiral-cut, covered with pineapple rings or coated in a sweet glaze, ham makes a great centerpiece for any meal. (Assuming it hasn’t been recalled). And unless you’re feeding a crowd, there will be leftovers.

Though you can simply reheat slices to enjoy another day, there are other, more inventive ways to make use of any remaining meat. If you’re looking for a little inspiration, here are six ham recipes to explore for meals throughout the day, including soups, sandwiches, casseroles and even cake! While these recipes might call for a specific type of ham, feel free to use whatever you have on hand.
