One of the most frequent things I was asked when I was vegan was: “Where do you get your protein?” It’s a valid question — many of us are brought up thinking that meat, dairy and eggs are where we get the essential macronutrient. And they can be! But they’re not the only places: Beans, tofu, tempeh, nuts and even whole grains can be amazing sources of protein as well.
