After flaming out in the 2003 playoffs, the Washington Capitals committed to a full rebuild. Since 2004, when Washington drafted Alex Ovechkin first overall, the Capitals’ roster slowly evolved into its current form. And now it’s taken home the team’s first Stanley Cup.
