Where D.C. snowplows went in the past hour

Here's where about 200 snowplows owned by the city of D.C. went between and Each dot represents a snowplow’s location, but city representatives said the data does not show the location of more than 500 pieces of equipment owned by contractors that are also working to clear the streets.

Days after the storm ended, the city acknowledged its “Snow Response Reporting System,” which is the source of this data, does not accurately reflect the city’s snow response. Read related article.
