A visit to the American Visionary Art Museum

Where: 800 Key Highway, Baltimore

When: 10 a.m. to
6 p.m. daily; closed Mondays

Cost: Adults, $15.95; students, $9.95; age 6 and younger, free

Don’t miss: Permanent collection in three buildings. Current special exhibit, “All Things Round,” runs through September 2. Besides the art, look for extras including fun-house mirrors (third floor), flatulence machine (basement — follow your nose!) and the entertaining, inexpensive gift shop.

Where to eat: The museum has a good restaurant, called Mr. Rain’s Funhouse. Or visit one of the many restaurants around Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
