Tarrida Cava Brut

Spain, $14

This cava offers precise bubbles and refreshing acidity, with a beautiful core of peach and apricot fruit. It’s one of the better cavas I’ve tasted in recent years. Made from organic grapes. Alcohol by volume: 11.5 percent.

Salton Intenso Brut

This sparkler is on the big and toasty side, with a slightly sweet finish. Ripe and full with apricot and apple flavors. ABV: 12.5 percent.

La Cappuccina Filòs Brut

Veneto, Italy, $16

Made from garganega grapes, this is essentially a sparkling soave, and it offers the classic flavors of pear and apple with the added bonus of fizz. It should appeal to Prosecco fans. ABV: 11.5 percent.
