Roseann and Pat McGeehin wanted a beach house that was festive, comfortable and welcoming to family and friends. Warrenton-based designer Barry Dixon delivered a glamorous, oceanfront retreat that works for all seasons.

Pat and Roseann McGeehin turned to Barry Dixon to create a new look for their South Bethany, Del., beach house. The Christian Liaigre sofa in the great room is upholstered in sunset lavender cotton velvet from Vervain.
