Summers Farm’s 14-acre corn maze features President Obama and Mitt Romney, the candidates running for president. You can get through the maze in 30 minutes, but you have to wait until November to get through all the political commercials on TV. (Ricky Carioti/The Washington Post)

How gross would it be to get stuck in a president’s nose or caught between the teeth of a presidential candidate?

That’s just what can happen to you at Summers Farm’s politically themed cornfield maze. The field, in Frederick, Maryland, features 2.5 miles of crisscrossing paths and hidden bridges that, when viewed from above, reveal presidential candidates Barack Obama and Mitt Romney holding the American flag.

Depending on how geographically challenged you are, completing the maze can take as little as 30 minutes or as long as several hours, the folks at Summers Farm say.

Your parents can find out all the information parents need to know (directions, hours, cost) at www.

For your part, you can tell them that walking through the maze will be an exercise in democracy — or just plain good exercise!
