Dogs are focus of Strathmore exhibition

A new exhibition of artwork at the Mansion at Strathmore in North Bethesda is really going to raise the woof.

No, that’s not a misspelling.

The exhibit is called “Strathmore Unleashed!” and it features more than 60 works by 25 artists. Have you figured out the theme?

Man’s best friend. Dogs. Canines. Pooches and puppies.

On this page are a few of our favorite works of art from the show. We really encourage you to visit. You’ll see everything: photography, paintings, even sculptures on the mansion’s grounds.

Simply put, Strathmore has gone to the dogs. And we think that’s pretty fun.
