Asheauna Pryor is working hard to be able to use her arms after an operation on her spine. She’s doing great with the help of a Chesapeak Bay retriever named Lewis.
Asheauna Pryor, 8, is learning how to use her hands again with help from a Chesapeake Bay retriever named Lewis after she had emergency surgery to remove a tumor on her spinal cord. Asheauna gives Lewis a treat as part of her physical therapy at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore. Amy Wernecke, Lewis' owner and handler, says Lewis can be "crazy at home sometimes.
