If you go: Portrait Gallery and American Art Museum

If you go —
and you should!

Want to see these amazing works of art — and many others — in person? You can see them all at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the National Portrait Gallery, two museums that are in one building, called the Donald W. Reynolds Center for American Art and Portraiture. (The museums are connected by the Kogod Courtyard, one of the featured “works of art” here.) We just KNOW your parents will be so impressed if you say ”Hey, let’s go to a museum this weekend.”
