Tuesday is Valentine’s Day! Maybe you’re on top of things and made cards weeks ago. Or maybe the class party slipped your mind. If you’re in the second category, we’ve come to the rescue with four cards that you can print, cut out and sign in just a few minutes. Click on the image above to find the cards.

The animals we have featured were rescued by City Wildlife, a D.C. organization that cares for injured or orphaned opossums, turtles and other wild animals. Once they’re ready, the animals go back into the wild.

This is the perfect time to show your love for the wild animals in your neighborhood.

“Food sources are really low for all animals,” said Paula Goldberg, City Wildlife’s executive director.

Goldberg suggested putting out seed or suet for birds and clean water for birds and other wildlife.

And if you spot a sick or injured animal, resist the urge to take care of it.

“The best thing to do is ask an adult for help,” Goldberg said. Experts at City Wildlife or your local animal rescue will know what to do.
