With October here, KidsPost is calling on readers to share their homemade Halloween costumes. They can be ones you wore in a previous year or ones you’re working on for this Halloween.
For inspiration, you can see last year’s memorable costumes at www.kidspost.com. We’ll publish pictures of the winning costumes on October 21. If we choose yours, you’ll get a $25 prize.
Here’s what we need:
●A photograph of the costume.
●A brief description of what your costume is and why you chose to make it. Include what materials you used, how long it took you to make and how much help you got from a grown-up.
●Your name, age, home town and a phone number.
●All entries must include a note from a parent or guardian giving permission. Deadline is 5 p.m. on Monday, October 8.
Send your entries to kidspost@
washpost.com (put “costume” in the subject field) or to KidsPost, The Washington Post, 1150 15th St. NW, Washington, D.C., 20071.
