The Summer of KidsPost 2021 is in full gear. Check out how our readers are making the most of the outdoors during their vacations while taking KidsPost along for the fun.

Allegra Han, 8, of Falls Church, Virginia, spent time with her parents and grandparents in Corolla on the Outer Banks, islands off the coast of North Carolina. Allegra enjoyed a week of sun, sand, ocean waves and doughnuts.

Avi and Riya Dabi of Houston, Texas, also enjoyed being outside on a camping trip near Lake Conroe. Avi, 7, and Riya, 13, love nature and spent a night in one of their favorite campgrounds not too far from Houston.

Mani Patel, 7, and sister Hana, 2, of Columbia, Maryland, traveled across the country to Park City, Utah, for their outdoor fun. They went hiking, biking, horseback riding and river rafting. Mani and Hana also enjoyed beautiful views from the tops of mountains.

Whether you’re traveling far or staying local, we want to see what you’re up to this summer. Take KidsPost along and share the fun with us. We’ll feature a selection of readers’ photos in KidsPost this summer. In September, three randomly selected participants will receive books and KidsPost goodies.

Here are the rules:

●Get a recent copy of KidsPost. If you don’t have access to the print newspaper, you can print out a page at wapo.st/kidspost2021PDF. Take it on your staycation or vacation.

●Get someone to take a photo of you — and siblings or other family members — holding KidsPost. Just make sure at least one person in the photo is between the ages of 5 and 13.

●Have a parent fill out the entry form at wapo.st/summerofkidspost2021 and attach your photo. List the full name, age and hometown of everyone in the photo and explain where you are and what’s going on.

●Families can submit only one photo, and it must have been taken after May 23, 2021. Entries are due by September 1.
