Tell us what you appreciate about Mom

What are some of the best things about your mom? Tell us — and the world (Bigstock)

Your mom does a million things for you. She cheers you on at soccer games. She stays up late baking cupcakes for school parties. She even cleaned out your lunchbox after you left part of a sandwich in there during spring break. (Yuck!)

We know you appreciate her — even if you occasionally forget to let her know. KidsPost is giving you a chance to tell the world what a wonderful mom you have. In 75 or fewer words, tell us what you appreciate most about Mom. We will feature selections in the Mother’s Day — that’s May 11 — issue of KidsPost. If we print your entry, we will send you a KidsPost prize package featuring an activity for you and Mom.

To enter, have an adult (a parent, guardian or teacher) fill out our form at or send your entry to KidsPost, The Washington Post, 1150 15th St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20071. On each entry, the adult should include your name, age and home town, and the name, e-mail address and phone number of the adult submitting the entry. A note from the adult giving permission for you to enter the contest is required.

The contest is open to kids ages 6 to 13. Entries must be received by May 1.
