@Work Advice Contest: Round 1 Results

The results of Round 1 of the @Work Advice Contest are in!

There were 2,573 votes cast; here’s how they broke down:

Cindy Coe : 26.27%

Michele Woodward : 10.69%

Karla Miller : 10.65%

Rachel Homer : 10.61%

Leslie Anderson : 10.53%

Abbey Kos : 8.36%

Richard Wong : 7.27%

Dean Buckley : 7.11%

Moira Forbes : 5.05%

Nikki Stevens : 3.46%

Voting closed at 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, Sept. 30. Friday morning we announced that the judges had awarded immunity for this round to contestant Karla Miller; she would have been safe regardless of the final vote totals.

As the two lowest vote-getters, Moira Forbes and Nikki Stevens were eliminated and won’t be continuing on to the second round of the competition.

Thanks to everyone who voted. The remaining eight contestants are about to begin work on their next assignments, so get ready to vote again in Round 2, which begins Wednesday, Oct. 5. washingtonpost.com/workadvice.
