Though not part of “Valhella,” Woolly Bully, a minotaur-style monster, is the unofficial BROS mascot. At community events, the troupe uses it to show that “this is what we’re about,” says Jen Tydings, who wrote ”Valhella” and serves as its artistic director. The mask is molded around a baseball catcher’s helmet. The teeth are cut from PVC pipes. “It’s a full puppet with stilt legs and arms so he can walk on all fours,” Tydings says. Benjamin C.
