Young adults, ages 20 to 34, are having an enormous impact on the District. From 2000 to 2010, nearly all of the District’s population growth was a result of this rising demographic, which expanded by 23 percent. Here is a look at several neighborhoods in the District that are being transformed by the tide of young residents.
Logan Circle Logan Circle, the swatch of land that covers 14th Street and the circle that lends the neighborhood its name, has experienced one of the most dramatic shifts in residents.
