This weekend, Elm Street and Bethesda and Woodmont avenues will make room for the juried Bethesda Row Arts Festival, which features 185 artists from around the world who have been selected by experts from the Torpedo Factory, the Smithsonian Institution and other area arts organizations. Peruse the artists’ booths or scan the offerings at an art sale that benefits the National Institutes of Health Children’s Charities. In addition to food vendors on the street, restaurants near the festival will serve specialty items. Children’s arts and crafts activities will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days, and a jazz lineup includes pianists Amy Bormet and Fred Hughes.
