Mathew Edward Lowe, the 17-year-old son of Rob Lowe, will start interning next week with House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va), The Hill’s Judy Kurtz reports.
The Lowe family seem to be District regulars, with Rob all over town last summer working on production of a D.C.-based reality show. The show, which was supposed to be picked up by E!, is still shopping for a network.
Lowe, 47, played Sam Seaborn in the famous Washington-set political series “The West Wing.”
Sam Evans will no longer be a recurring face in the third season of “Glee.” Starting with its season premier on Sept. 20, Chord Overstreet will no longer be a regular on the series, Us Weekly reports. Show creators apparently decided not to renew his contract.
“Well, it’s been a good year. Too bad its over. Time for summer and starting fresh,” the actor, 22, who is on tour with the “Glee” cast, tweeted Friday.
Overstreet’s exit comes with news that Darren Criss and Harry Shum Jr., who play Blaine Anderson and Mike Chang, will become regulars in the new season.
This will be last year at McKinley High for original cast members Cory Monteith, Lea Michele and Chris Colfer, who play Finn Hudson, Rachel Berry and Kurt Hummel. Creator Ryan Murphy announced that they will be graduating in the fall.
Salma Hayek’s husband, billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault, is the father of Linda Evangelista’s 4-year-old son, People reports.
The supermodel, 46, recently filed a petition in New York seeking support for Augustin James from the French businessman, 49, whose salary last year was $5.4 million, according to Bloomberg Businessweek. Evangelista had kept the identity of the father a secret until now.
Evangelista got pregnant in 2006. Hayek, 44, and Pinault wed in 2009 and have a daughter, Valentina Paloma.
