For six seasons of NBC's hit "The Office," Steve Carell has stood in, symbolically, for everyone's stupid manager/team leader/division head -- even in an economy where millions of people ceased having a boss at all. At least they still had Michael.
As the regional manager of Dunder Mifflin Inc., a paper company in Scranton, Pa., Michael Scott, played impeccably by Steve Carell, has made the day-to-day business of an office seem funny and kept America laughing with memorable catch phrases, including the now infamous "That's what she said."
With Carell leaving "The Office," America is left to wonder if any character can take his place.
