TV highlights: ‘Cops’ wraps Season 25; Zach Galifianakis hosts ‘SNL’

Saturday night, “Cops” (Fox at 8) wraps up Season 25 as police in Las Vegas struggle with suspects.

The two musicals on “Smash” (NBC at 8), “Bombshell” and “Hit List,” wind up being connected in a surprising way.

Zach Galifianakis hosts “Saturday Night Live” (NBC at 11:30), with musical guest Of Monsters and Men.

Sunday talk shows: “Platts Energy Week” (WUSA at 7:30 a.m.) interviews Continental Resources’ Rick Bott and Rep. John Shimkus (R-Ill.); “This Week in Defense News” (WUSA at 8) has Pentagon Comptroller Bob Hale and Give an Hour’s Barbara Van Dahlen; “BioCentury This Week” (WUSA at 8:30) features Avalere Health’s Dan Mendelson and American Enterprise Institute’s Scott Gottlieb; “Fox News Sunday” (Fox at 9) hosts Reps. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) and Stephen Lynch (D-Mass.), and Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.); “White House Chronicle” (WETA at 9) has Bertelsmann Foundation’s Annette Heuser and Center for Strategic and International Studies’ Arnaud de Borchgrave; “State of the Union” (CNN at 9) features Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.); “The Chris Matthews Show” (NBC at 10) hosts AXS TV’s Dan Rather, BBC’s Katty Kay and The Post’s David Ignatius and Kathleen Parker.

“This Week”(ABC at 10) features strategists James Carville and Mary Matalin, former senator Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) and former governor Bill Richardson (D-N.M.); “Newsmakers” (C-SPAN at 10) talks to Rep. Jeff Miller (R-Fla.);“This Is America & the World” (WETA at 10 a.m., WHUT at 6 p.m.) talks to Greek Ambassador Christos Panagopoulos; “Meet the Press” (NBC at 10:30) has Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), Rep. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), former congresswoman Jane Harman (D-Calif.) and former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani (R);“Face the Nation” (CBS at 10:30) talks to Reps. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) and Dutch Ruppersberger (D-Md.); “Washington Watch With Roland Martin” (TV One at 11) hosts Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) and AFL-CIO’s William Spriggs; “Bloomberg Government’s Capitol Gains” (WUSA at 11:30) has NASA’s Charles Bolden and FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski.

Sunday night, the Season 22 finale of “The Amazing Race” (CBS at 8) has the final three teams leaving Ireland and hurrying to the District to win the grand prize.

Patrick has picked seven people who could be Red John on the Season 5 finale of “The Mentalist” (CBS at 10) — which has been renewed for another season.

No word on whether freshman drama “Red Widow” (ABC at 10) will return, but things don’t look good. In the finale, Marta thinks she knows who was behind her husband’s murder.
