The spinoff comedy, “Girl Code” (MTV at 10:30), targets a female audience with a “how-to manual” of advice that will, according to the network, “open the dialogue about the wonders and woes of womanhood.” Who can resist the woes of womanhood? Actor Steve Martin is on “The Late Show With David Letterman” (CBS at 11:35), along with actress Jenna Fischer and singer Edie Brickell.
